Hi everyone! My name is Mary Grace!
Since a young age, I’ve seen how each person is made in the image of God and how much I learn about God through each unique person I meet. I’ve always wanted to go and see how God is at work in other places, communities, and countries. God is alive and at work all around the world in the most beautiful ways. I have seen the impact God has on people’s lives over the years and my own personal experience. Following Jesus and learning how to trust Him with everything has been the most beautiful journey and it continues to be as I learn more about the Lord and who He has created me to be.
This has all lead to the decision to go on the World Race.
I’ve been wanting to go on the World Race for ten years or more now. As I would go through the process and get further along each time, I felt like the Lord had something else for me and that this desire deep in my heart would wait and would come, but be patient. This has lead me to do beautiful things and see how much the Lord has worked in my own personal heart, discovering more about my impactful story, see Jesus at work in unique ways, discover new gifts and passions, and ultimately just living this adventure with the Lord. I’m from the small town of Winchester, TN and I grew up in the church as my dad was a pastor. But as I have grown up, I’ve realized that the church is much more than the four walls we stand in on Sunday’s. We are the church and the body of Christ and we are living our life with Jesus daily depending on Him, trusting Him, and loving every single person with that same love. This journey has taken me to some life-changing places around the world and each place and experience has a very special place in my heart. I graduated from college at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Communications major and a passion for photojournalism. With a long series of events, things didn’t go as I thought they would as they never do with the Lord and I ended up in Seattle, Washington working at a college ministry called The INN.
Following the Lord and not my own plan in this was the best decision I ever made. This place, these people, this community has been a huge blessing in my life and I have a deep deep love and compassion for college students and the impact of college ministry. I have been working here the last two years. As I continue to love my job and care deeply for it pursing career in this ministry, I also knew this deep longing to go and desire to serve alongside others in other countries and being in complete amazement and wonder at Jesus and wanting to share this same sweet joy ( and my huge hugs) with others who don’t get the opportunity to know. I was able to combine my love for missions and college ministry through working to prepare mission trips and deputation, and I feel like this is the time in my life for me to go and where the Lord is leading. That why I am headed to the Expedition route of the World Race to the unreached people in the 10/40 window starting in January 2020. I am so so excited for this next season of life and how the Lord is preparing me for it! I’m excited to see how the Lord works these next 11 months abroad. Please keep myself and my incredible squad in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare for this next year. Please consider partnering with me financially and follow along with the journey and adventure of what the Lord is at work doing around the world!

Mary Grace, dearest Mary. Grace. I am blessed to know you. I had fun reading this and though I think I learned most of this at training camp, I was able to imagine you writing this before you knew any of us and that was a sweet thought. So vulnerable. So ready for the huge hugs. I’m sitting here at work missing you all and missing YOUR electric energy. Can i hear you play the fiddle some time? That would be the best. See you soon sister. LOVE YOU.
If you do not take the fiddle on the race I shall be very disappointed. Imagining your bubbly/outgoing personality was so fun while reading this. Cant wait to see you at launch girl!
