Whoa…I’m in Australia and I still can’t wrap my mind around it.

Each day is an adventure. I have this sweet freedom of waking up and inviting the Lord into every part of the day. “Lord, what are we doing today?!”

There is an excitement of the unknown and a spontaneity that I thrive in. Living life with the Lord is FUN! Thriving in the unknown of the World Race with the Lord leading every step of the way. Whew it’s been a wild ride, friends!

Since being here, we have had a variety of ministry opportunities through our YWAM host. We have been working with drug and alcohol rehabilitation, local churches, spreading the gospel around the city, launching a church plant and tomorrow we are working a local festival. Sometimes we have an idea of what we are doing and sometimes we rely on the Lord to tell us where to go and who to minister too!

This crazy faith is building as I watch the Lord guide my steps and bless me personally!

This past Monday, the Lord led me to worshiping in public and praising Jesus with a sweet team of friends. Not playing an instrument, but using my voice alone. We climbed the mountain beside the coastal town and had a divine appointment from the Lord with a man and his family who ultimately wanted us to sing praise and worship at their memorial for their beloved family member who died tragically. The family, with the exception of the man we met that invited us because of our kindred spirit, were all unbelievers but searching for something. We sang Amazing Grace off the cliffside while remembering their sweet nana. Some of the youth of the family said the songs we randomly sang represented their nana beautifully, sweet gifts the Lord had for each of these amazing family members. The Lord worked in big and powerful ways that day. Through it all, showing us that when we feel inadequate, all we have to do is show up and say yes and the Lord will lead us where to go and what to do. He knows where He wants us, we just have to have faith to step into it with Him amidst the thoughts of inadequacy. His grace is sufficient in our weaknesses and boy oh boy is it powerful!

The Lord has also been gifting me through encounters with His creation!

The other night, we went to the beach for girls bonding with our squad and the YWAM teams that we are partnering with. We went swimming in the ocean and as I was enjoying the waves and the beautiful sunset on the horizon, a pod of dolphins came up right beside me. Now if you know me, you know my love for Dolphins since I was little. I was so overwhelmed with joy that I couldn’t breathe. Tears were about to break through and I couldn’t even speak words because the excitement and joy had overtaken me. As I followed them out to sea, the dolphin flipped over and waved its fin at me as if to just let me know he saw me and wanted to say hello.

This was such a personal reminder to me that the Lord wants to bless us and give us gifts. He knows our heart and He has sweet simplistic joys all around us to show us His presence-to say hello I am here. He’s a good father and He knows and wants to give us the desires of our hearts. He wants to give us blessings and overflow us with joy where we can’t even speak because of the excitement. How can we not praise such a good father who loves and knows us so well?

Wow God you’re good and you created this world for us to enjoy and love each other and you, deeply and fiercely. I love the little joys you send to remind us of your presence and goodness. I am loving this journey. Thank you for beginning to cultivate this wild faith within me through your faithfulness and showing me your presence and love through these simple joys.

And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith.”
-Romans 1:17 (TPT)
